Key dates

April 12 and beyond: MyLion, MyLCI, and Insights are no longer available.
April 15 – May 13: Invitations to access the new Lion Portal via email on a rolling basis to existing Lion Account users.
May 13 and beyond: All visitors attempting to access the previous digital tools will be automatically redirected to the new portal.

MD 35-L DG Lion Tony Esposito

Fellow Lions,

CLUB PRESIDENTS/SECRETARIES:

You will be receiving updated information regarding voting delegates to the District 35L Mini-Convention and MD Convention within the next few days.

Originally the intent was to have a separate 35L Mini-Convention apart from the Multiple District Convention.

However, we found that the two conventions would be only 2-1/2 weeks apart and would cause undo hardship to all Lions wanting to participate in both events timewise and financially. Many Lions have indicated that having the Mini-Convention in the middle of the week was a hardship to those who work as they would have to take time off for mid-week travel.

Secondly, the financial impact would be asking too much of the members to repeat with a similar trip to the Multi-District Convention in Orlando two weeks later.

With all this considered, it has been decided that I move the date for the 35L Mini-Convention to coincide with our District Luncheon on Friday, May 3, in Orlando.
